Derek graduated from Otago Dental School in 1980 and worked as a general dentist for 13 years before being accepted onto the Otago Masters in Orthodontics 3 year fulltime programme at Otago University. He has been established in Howick since 1997. Derek is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and the New Zealand Orthodontic Association.
Derek is married with 3 children, all grown up now and pursuing their own careers.
The rest of the team consists of practice manager Deb, clinical assistant Vicky and receptionist Andrea. We understand that orthodontic treatment can seem confusing and we are happy to have a chat with you about the process and to answer any of your questions.
